On January 25 and 26, 2018, the Supreme Court adopted changes to the Board Policies and Procedures and Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 7. The changes can be found on this website under links for "Rule 7" or for "Governing Authorities."
The Tennessee Supreme Court approved amendments to Board Policy and Procedures P-4.07(d). The new policy, effective for examination applicants beginning with the July 2018 examination, requires a minimum MPRE score of 82 to be eligible for licensing in Tennessee.
On December 5, 2017, the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners filed an Amendment to the Petition to Amend Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 7 that was filed on October 18, 2017. The Amendment changes the proposed implementation date to the February 2019 bar examination.
